Silma Koekemoer specializes in management consulting and has extensive public and private sector experience, including academic and industry research, finance, risk management and technology. An associate member of the Institute of Municipal Finance Officers (South Africa) and Prince 2 Practitioner, she gained recognition for her research and development of a “Municipal ICT Blueprint”, which she presented at regional, national and international conferences.
She holds a MBA degree from the North West University and also does part time lecturing at tertiary institutions. Silma recently co-published a book on “Smart Cities” with the Public Technology Institute, New York, USA.
