Corporate Social Responsibility Projects

AYEMA XPERTRIX CONSULTING supports community outreach projects through contributions of their time, talents and treasures. The contribution and intended outcomes thereof are carefully evaluated, before a decision is made to get involved:

Agro-processing

Ayema is involved with the development of agro-processing projects across Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria. The contribution includes establishing sustainable poverty alleviating projects; providing management services and assistance to access funding; skills transfer and training facilitation with the intention to empower beneficiaries to become economically active and responsible members of society, as well as of the project itself.

Akani Vunwe Development

Ayema is providing mentorship to a non-profit organisation of young volunteers in Soweto. This organisation deals with the re-establishment of skilled first time offenders into formal employment opportunities. Ayema supports the organisation with training facilitation and structuring of opportunities to develop both the volunteers and the beneficiaries.

HospiVision
Kairos Prison Ministry

HospiVision is a Christian Faith-based non-profit company established in 1997 to provide psycho-social and spiritual care, counselling and training, as well as physical support in the health care environment. Their vision is to touch the lives of sick people and those around them and give them hope. Ayema has been involved with HospiVision through providing management consulting services and assisting with re-focusing the organisation, advising in terms of restructuring and developing the business units of the organisation.

The directors of Ayema have personally supported Kairos Prison Ministry outreach to Leeuwkop maximum security facility as members of the outreach support team, spending the outreach week ends at the correctional facility and serving the team with their time, cooking skills and prayers.

Stop Hunger Now SA
Vastfontein Community Transformation
Women’s programmes

Stop Hunger Now SA provides dehydrated packaged meals to unregistered early childhood development centres in informal settlements. The financial savings which the centre achieves through this provision, should be utilised towards projects which would enable the centre to register with the department, thereby becoming eligible for subsidy and grant funding. Ayema supports Stop Hunger Now SA financially. The directors have also attended focus group workshops with Stop Hunger SA and drafted project proposals for the organisation.

Vastfontein Community Transformation is a non-profit company that focuses on the development and social upliftment of its surrounding communities 40km north of Pretoria near Hammanskraal and Soshanguve. Their vision is to release people to reach their dreams and build a better future, through raising, educating and equipping future leaders from communities in need. Vastfontein have three care homes, which houses a “mom” with up to six children each. In addition to this there is a School of Church Planting and subsistence farmers are being trained in conjunction with AFGRI. The Wellness Centre has two full-time social workers, an occupational therapist and psychologist that volunteer their time on a weekly basis. A doctor is also available to the community, on a voluntary basis for any medical needs.

Ayema supports the work at Vastfontein by collecting school equipment, music instruments and hand knit blankets for the children. We have also arranged benefit concerts, presented workshops and motivational talks to the staff.

Ayema Xpertrix Consulting, being a women-owned micro organisation, initiates and supports projects from which women of all ages benefit. These projects include extra tuition for high school pupils, taking girls to work, Women’s Day Conferences and a year-long women’s programme for executives. Ayema also offers associate opportunities to unemployed professional women and experiential training for tertiary students.
